This incident caused the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Police detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
